Nature of the mutation

The f2Tg allele is a transgenic zebrafish line Tg(-5.1myl7:DsRed2-NLS) in which the DsRed2 is expressed in atrial and ventricular cardiomyocyte nuclei beginning at approximately 48 hpf.

Genotyping assay

Genotyping of the f2Tg allele is based on the fluorescent microscopy.The red fluorescent protein expression was observed in atrial and ventricular cardiomyocyte nuclei beginning at approximately 48 hpf.
